Job Description

Job Title: SOLAR-Engineering Head Direct Reportee: 3-4 members Location: Havells Head Office, Noida Reporting To: Business Unit Head-SOLAR Job Responsibilities: Manage the Techno-Commercial aspects of SOLAR Engineering, encompassing design, development, Simulation, PMC, BOM, Commercials and implementation of solar power systems, often overseeing a team of engineers and technicians Cost optimization of detailed engineering solutions designs and Bill of Materials Keep up with the latest technological developments, with system control and storage Identifying new market technical challenges and potential technology advancements to integrate in new projects and solutions across the different Travel to project sites for project supervision and commissioning (up to 30% of time) Candidates profile-Education & Experience: 7-10 years of experience with B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/B.Tech+MBA with experience of working with organizations catering to SOLAR products At least 5 years in solar PV rooftop, C&I, utility scale projects both ground and rooftop Thorough understanding of Bill of Materials, Costs, Vendors, Engineering assumptions, calculations, modelling, for all kinds of solar PV installations Ability to present a techno commercial presentation to customers / investors Thorough understanding of the customer needs and local electrical codes, safety measures, approvals etc. Personal Attributes: Good Communication & Presentation skills Analytical and Problem-solving ability Foresightedness Flawless Planning & Execution Agility and Speed in Decision making
