Solar Design Engineer

As a Solar Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing solar PV systems for both rooftop and ground-mounted projects. Your expertise in solar power system design, electrical layouts, and AutoCAD drawings will be essential in ensuring the success of our renewable energy initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop solar PV system layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring schematics. - Conduct site feasibility assessments and prepare technical design reports. - Utilize AutoCAD and PVsyst for system simulations and energy yield estimations. - Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation for EPC execution. - Collaborate with project engineers, procurement, and installation teams. - Ensure compliance with MNRE, CEI, and DISCOM standards. - Optimize system design for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and performance. - Assist in tender documentation, client proposals, and technical presentations. Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in solar design engineering, with a preference for EPC background. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and MS Office tools. - Strong knowledge of solar modules, inverters, cables, and mounting structures. - Understanding of electrical codes, load calculations, and grid integration. - Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
