Solar Design Engineer

As a Solar Project Engineer at our company in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in preparing AutoCAD project layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and preliminary design packages. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing US-based engineering firms for permit sets and detailed project designs. Additionally, you will conduct project optimization analysis by adjusting design parameters and major equipment to determine the most efficient project layout and input. Your key responsibilities will involve reviewing and comprehending the interconnection process for various RTOs/Utilities (US-based transmission service providers). You will be responsible for completing Interconnection Applications (IX applications) and overseeing feasibility studies and load flow studies with US-based interconnection analysis experts to determine the "power injection capability" at a given Point of Interconnect (POI). Furthermore, you will be supporting in RFP responses/bids for the Client, collaborating closely with the GM and Director to manage the overall RFP response, including all technical aspects. Your involvement will be crucial during RFP response/bid preparation, working closely with the Client's team. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 4 years of PV Solar design experience in utility-scale PV Solar projects; experience with PV solar + energy storage projects is advantageous - Familiarity with the US solar market is beneficial - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; education from a US-based engineering/management school is preferred Additional Details: Our team values strong analytical and mathematical skills, exceptional work ethics, and robust organizational and communication abilities.
