About the Role: KCP Eco Energy is seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Engineer to manage and streamline the procurement of solar-related materials and services. This role is crucial for ensuring cost-efficient, timely, and quality-based procurement of components, equipment, and services for solar projects. Key Responsibilities: Source, negotiate, and procure solar materials (modules, inverters, cables, etc.) at the best possible rates. Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure they meet technical and commercial requirements. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specs and delivery timelines. Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships. Ensure timely delivery and track material dispatches for multiple project sites. Handle documentation including purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices. Monitor stock levels, lead times, and procurement schedules. Ensure compliance with company policies, budget guidelines, and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or relevant field). Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement , preferably in solar EPC or renewable energy . Strong knowledge of solar materials, vendor markets, and technical specifications. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems, and basic documentation.
