Software Tester

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester with 2 years of experience looking to join a dynamic team. In this role, your main responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Your key responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. You will need to identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, and perform both manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality and usability. Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements is crucial. Additionally, you will be conducting API testing and database validation as needed, while ensuring compliance with software quality assurance standards and best practices. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed test reports and effectively communicating your findings. Participation in Agile/Scrum meetings and contributing to continuous improvement efforts is expected from you. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, especially in web and mobile applications, is required. Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar is essential, along with experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. You should have a good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle, as well as knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman. Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also key qualifications for this position.,
