Software Tester

Description We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with experience in both manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications by identifying defects and collaborating closely with the development team. Responsibilities Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications. Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the testing process. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and improve product quality. Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not impact existing functionality. Participate in test case reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus. Ability to analyze requirements and create detailed test cases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
