Software Test Engineer (Manual & Automation)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with 13 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright for automation, working knowledge of JMeter for performance testing, and exposure to leveraging AI tools in software testing workflows. In this role, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases using Playwright, conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and documentation. You will utilize JMeter to perform load and performance testing on APIs and web applications, collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test coverage gaps, suggest improvements, investigate test failures, log defects, and track them to closure. Additionally, you will contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration and explore and apply AI-powered testing tools to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate should have 13 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation), strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred), experience in manual testing for web and API-based applications, knowledge of performance testing using JMeter, understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies, experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), good analytical and problem-solving skills. Exposure to programming/scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman), familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker), and ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.,
