Software Test Engineer II

As a Software Test Engineer at ConnectWise, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our suite of software solutions. Here's a closer look at what your responsibilities will entail: - Possess an engineering degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 2-4 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance. - Demonstrate a solid understanding and application of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC processes. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Rest Assured with Java. - Conduct web service/API testing to validate RESTful services. - Perform database testing and write SQL queries to ensure data integrity and backend processes. - Engage with cross-functional teams utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for task tracking and defect management. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and assist in automating integration in the build and deployment process. - Analyze test results, identify bugs, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. - Assist in test planning, test case design, and test execution for functional and regression testing. - Maintain documentation pertaining to test cases, test results, and quality metrics. Mandatory Skills: - Hands-on Java Coding, Javascript, automation, Selenium, Rest API, SQL Queries - Strong communication skills with experience in communicating with US teams Good to Have: - Exposure to scripting languages such as JavaScript or tools like Ansible. - Basic understanding of performance, security, and chaos testing (Non-Functional Requirements). - Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure concepts. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-based testing environments.
