Software Quality Analyst

As a Software Tester (Quality Analyst) at Technocrats Horizons, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience. You will be responsible for creating detailed test cases, executing manual tests, and ensuring comprehensive coverage across various functionalities. Additionally, you will play a key role in bug reporting and tracking using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla, as well as performing regression and functional testing to validate new features. To excel in this role, you should be a detail-oriented thinker who can spot issues that others may overlook. Strong communication skills are essential as you will need to clearly articulate bugs, scenarios, and test results to developers and stakeholders. An analytical mindset and proactive attitude will help you break down complex systems, anticipate potential problems, and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as you will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless releases. Your curiosity and tech-savviness will drive you to explore new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance our testing processes continuously. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and UI testing. Familiarity with bug reporting tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello is essential, along with an understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Experience in cross-platform testing, communication skills, and the ability to write clear test cases and bug reports are also necessary for this role. In addition to the required skills, knowledge of automation tools like Selenium or Postman, experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger, exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, and familiarity with mobile app testing tools like Appium or Android Studio are considered advantageous. Holding an ISTQB certification is also a bonus. This is a full-time position based in Ludhiana, with benefits including leave encashment and paid time off.
