Software QA Engineer

You will be part of a dynamic team of Software Quality Assurance engineers focused on next-generation Graphics, Compute, and SOC products at NVIDIA. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of top-quality software throughout all stages of chip and product development. To excel in this role, you must possess a solid foundation in maintaining software quality, with a particular emphasis on bug-free releases. Additionally, a deep understanding of graphics and compute concepts, coupled with a strong knowledge of current-generation PC/hardware architecture, is essential. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to meticulous engineering practices are also key requirements for this position. As a Software Quality Assurance engineer, you will be expected to validate products using systematic tests, develop and maintain quality standards, and execute test plans. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and writing test standards and procedures, documenting test results for debugging and modification purposes, and ensuring the functionality of GPU, SOC, and Compute profiles. You will collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues and provide feedback on technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and compilation software. Your role will involve integrating quality computer processes into scientific compilation, data acquisition, and processing functions. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in building PCs and systems, including assembly, setup, and installation, is required. Strong experience in executing test plans, interpreting and communicating results, and writing new tests and flows is essential. Candidates should also have a background in developing robust QA processes and troubleshooting routine problems that may arise during test plan execution. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must, and previous experience in system software quality assurance is highly preferred. To distinguish yourself as a standout candidate, familiarity with scripting languages, AI-based tools, and automation will be advantageous in this role.
