Role Overview: As a Biotechnology professional at our company, your role will involve designing test plans, writing, executing, and automating test cases for functional and/or performance testing within the assigned domain. You will be responsible for performing both guided and exploratory manual test executions following established processes. Additionally, you will work as a member of the scrum team, participating in planning, estimating, and verifying user stories and acceptance criteria. Developing strong expertise in the assigned domain area and effectively communicating status, metrics, and issues on a regular basis will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also assist in creating high-quality test summary reports and become a user expert on our products to ensure a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Design test plans and automate test cases for functional and/or performance testing - Perform guided and exploratory manual test executions - Work as a member of the scrum team, including planning and verifying user stories - Develop expertise in the assigned domain area - Communicate status, metrics, and issues regularly - Assist in creating high-quality test summary reports - Become a user expert on the products and champion customer issues - Transform manual test cases into automated test cases - Participate in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Science-based field - 7+ years of experience in qualifying high-volume, scalable enterprise software - Experience in working in an agile/scrum environment - Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems - Understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, methodologies, and best practices - Proficiency in test case management and bug tracking systems like Jira, Zephyr - Minimum 2 years of experience with automation tools like TestComplete, Selenium, VS Coded UI, or Playwright - Familiarity with databases and data platforms - Experience in testing systems at a large scale - Familiarity with developing API test frameworks - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript - Experience with BDD is a plus - Prior experience in the Chemistry/Biologics space is desirable Additional Company Details: You will be joining a team that values passion for quality, the ability to speak up on quality matters respectfully, and a strong emphasis on good UI design with meticulous attention to detail.
