Software Engineering Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

- Expected to be an SME.

- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.

- Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies.

- Experience with software development life cycle and agile methodologies.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.

- Familiarity with integration techniques and data management.

- Develop or review technical objects such as ABAP reports, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and function modules related to IS-U billing.

- Work with interface technologies such as IDocs, Web Services, BAPIs, RFCs, Middleware (PI/PO or CPI).

- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and optimized technical solutions.

- Perform debugging and technical evaluation of billing-related issues in production.

- Support migration activities, including data mapping, conversion programs, and cutover readiness.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.

- This position is based at our Pune office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
