So, let us cut to the chase: We are looking for a Manager, Software Engineering to be based in Bengaluru, India . We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Software Engineer to lead our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering of highly resilient systems at scale. You will combine advanced Software Engineering practices with mature Operations skills to deliver and operate reliable cloud services. As a Manager, Software Engineer you will ensure that our Cloud services meet the reliability and uptime requirements of our enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities Get to work with innovative technologies that are defining the future of the cloud Lead the team of engineers to foster solid engineering principles and represent our engineering values With a strong technical background, help the team un-block issues. Utilize both your technical and relational skills to lead large scale projects to completion Collaborate with the peer stakeholders to deliver the work timely and with quality Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to deliver Epics/stories on a sprint level Manage the sprints by helping the team with detailed writing of stories or epics Collaborate, influence, and drive for improvement across scrum teams Architect and implement new Cloud Services serving thousands of customers and millions of users Navigate and manage Kubernetes environments, including Kubernetes Operators Work with AWS for deployment and management Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable solutions Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Golang applications and Kubernetes deployments Utilize version control systems, conduct testing (unit, contract, integration), and work within an Agile team environment Leverage OpenShift knowledge as needed Qualifications Minimum of 12-15 years of overall experience in software development , Expertise in software development using high-level programming languages such as C#, NetCore, Python, or Java; with a bachelors or masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar 3-5 years of experience in leading or managing product teams globally to deliver the product At least 5-6 years of experience working with Kubernetes environments Experience with AWS Cloud services implementation Knowledge of Git / version control systems Experience with unit, contract, and integration testing Proficiency in Golang implementation of operators Familiarity with OpenShift Experience working on an Agile team You like to be the owner and strive to do work you are proud of, both technically and in your team interactions You can inspire other people to collaborate with you, and you enjoy mentoring and coaching, as well as learning from other engineers You feel excitement toward building distributed, client/server systems, especially in the web application space You have a passion for solving multi-data center scalability problems You have built, deployed, and supported backend asynchronous services The Longer Story: OutSystems is a global leader transforming how companies innovate through software, empowering IT leaders with a better way to build the software that matters most.We are looking for talented and motivated people to join us in helping companies solve some of their most strategic business challenges, from modernizing their workplace processes to transforming their employee and customer experiences.
