Software Engineering Senior Analyst

Position Overview

Quality of Care Groupers development team implements and manages a key healthcare software that helps accurately access health care risk for individuals and groups, recognizes comorbidities, complications, and treatments that dramatically change the patients clinical profile, health care utilization, and costs among other key benefits. This software is implemented over an ever changing and emerging technical landscape.

Were looking for a hands-on software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in application delivery, eager to apply development skills to build solutions on cloud platform, enhance system resilience and efficiency.

As part of our mission to provide the best healthcare experience to our customers/patients, youll contribute to develop solutions on cloud platform using modern tools like Python, databricks, etc allowing for implementation and enhancement of the grouper solutions across Cigna s landscape. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business product Owners to understand the requirements and functionality being built.
• Use Analytical knowledge to understand the functional landscape and gain knowledge on technical tools to provide the best technical solutions.
• Collaborate with peers to provide the best technical solutions, support existing systems and automate the repetitive tasks or manual steps
• Engage in automated unit testing and integrated testing.
• Follow the Engineering Excellence best practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and documentation of operational procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Agile methodology
• A desire to learn and grow your experience
• Good communications skills

Required Experience:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience on Software Engineering projects
• 3+ years Hands on experiences in some AWS technologies like - Cloud Watch, Glue, EC2, Airflow to name a few
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python
• Understanding of version control systems and experience using Gitlab/Github
• Understanding of Development Operations and Software Development Lifecycle
• Understanding of ticketing systems like ServiceNow
• Experience with Data warehousing concepts
• Experience on delivering projects using AWS Services such as Databricks, Terraform, Lambdas, S3, SNS, GitHub, Jenkins, CloudWatch, Apache Airflow

Location & Hours of Work

• Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate
• Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
