Software Engineer - Python

You will be a part of our backend development team as a Python Developer with expertise in Django. Your primary responsibility will involve creating and maintaining robust web applications, developing scalable APIs, and collaborating with frontend developers to ensure a seamless user experience. Your tasks will include developing, optimizing, and maintaining Django-based web applications. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF) and working with various Django components such as models, views, templates, forms, and middleware. Additionally, you will design and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQL or MySQL, write efficient ORM queries, and manage database migrations. Collaborating with frontend developers to integrate HTML/CSS/JavaScript with Django templates and implementing dynamic features using AJAX, jQuery, or modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js when necessary will also be part of your role. Ensuring code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and following best practices is essential. You will also participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions to enhance the overall development process. The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in Python and Django, with experience in Django REST Framework (DRF). A solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM concepts is required. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery is essential. Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js will be considered a plus. Knowledge of Git and version control workflows, along with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, is crucial.
