Software Engineer, Power Platform

As a software engineer specializing in Power Platform at Wrtsil, your primary responsibilities will involve designing and developing business solutions using platform components. This will include analyzing requirements, designing, developing, and testing solutions. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing and developing backend databases, integrations to other systems, front-end user interfaces, and logical layers based on business requirements. Your role will also involve consulting the Low-code developer community with technical solutions and best practices, as well as managing platform administration tasks such as user management, ALM, monitoring system performance, and resolving platform or application-level issues. You will collaborate with stakeholders to escalate any unresolved issues and represent technical forums as a technical consultant and advisor. Moreover, you are expected to leverage your technology know-how to automate and simplify standard working processes, contribute to the development of best practices, and develop Knowledge Management Database (KMDB) and Knowledge Enabled Database (KEDB) comprising Platform admin, technical guides, FAQs, and How-to's. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience working on Power Platform components like PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, and experience in transforming stories into technical design using modeling tools is essential. Proficiency in building solutions in PowerApps, ASP.NET, C#, Java, Python, Web Services, XML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and database design is crucial. You should also possess a good understanding of ITIL framework, ITSM processes, and Agile development practices such as SCRUM and Kanban.
