Software Engineer (PHP)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain SaaS products using Core PHP, JS, Ajax, MySQL, and MongoDB in Agile environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Assume a customer-focused approach to problem-solving, developing solutions that address and anticipate the needs of our users.
• Drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in SaaS product development

Key Skills

• Solid experience in Core PHP development within a product-based environment.
• Should have a solid understanding of Vanilla JavaScript & Jquery
• Understanding of HTTP API , REST API, and plugin development for popular SaaS products.
• A solid understanding of front-end scripting security issues.
• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to write bug-free and optimized code.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases, specifically MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented PHP programming.
• Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Preference to candidates having a bachelor's in IT IT-related field
• Must have a minimum 2-3 years of experience as Developer in PHP Domain
