Software Engineer – PHP & Core Programming (C/C++, Data Structures)

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer – PHP & Core Programming (C/C++, Data Structures) with around 3 years of experience to join our growing team at Shifttocloud.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP development along with solid programming knowledge in C, C++, and data structures. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable applications and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using PHP, C*, and C++*.
• Apply strong understanding of data structures and algorithms to build efficient and high-performing applications.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and modules.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across multiple layers.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Work across the software development life cycle (SDLC) — from requirement analysis to testing and deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with modern programming practices, tools, and technologies.
• Suggest performance improvements and contribute to technical architecture discussions.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Around 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong proficiency in C*, C++, and understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)* concepts.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of software design patterns and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
