Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software components with guidance, becoming a go-to contributor for specific functions.
Apply an automation first mindset to improve quality and efficiency.
Understand cost, complexity, and capability trade-offs in architecture.
Participate in Agile development and CI/CD practices.
Instrument features using standard monitoring and diagnostic frameworks.
Reuse or develop reusable code algorithms and data structures.
Stay current with industry trends and share insights with the team.
Support operational characteristics such as security, performance, and scalability in contributed code.

Required Skills

Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, SQL).
Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and tools.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks and collaborate within a team.
Awareness of upstream/downstream system dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in software development.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools.
Experience with source control systems and automated testing frameworks.
