Software Engineer - Node.js

As a Software Engineer (Node.js) at our forward-thinking Software Company located in Gurugram, you will be an integral part of our backend team. Your primary responsibility will be the development, maintenance, and optimization of robust and scalable server-side applications, APIs, and microservices that drive our cutting-edge solutions in the CX industry. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. Your tasks will include writing clean, reusable, and testable code, developing RESTful APIs, integrating with databases, and working on CRM application modules development and integration. Collaboration with frontend developers to ensure seamless UI integration, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and participating in code reviews will be key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js. Additionally, proven experience in working with CRM systems or modules, a strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and design patterns, as well as familiarity with REST APIs, Express.js, and databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL are required. Experience with version control systems like Git, writing unit and integration tests, and good problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Exposure to microservices architecture, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets would be advantageous. A basic understanding of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
