Position description:

We are looking for a Laravel Developer to build web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business. You should be adept at utilizing Laravel's GUI and be able to design a PHP application from start to finish.

Qualifications/skills required:

· A solid understanding of application design using Laravel.

· Proficiency in HTML5, CSS5, jQuery, Bootstrap, Javascript, SCSS.

· Practical experience using the MVC architecture.

· Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.

· Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.

· Must have proficient knowledge of OO concepts including design patterns

· Experience working with third party SDK or APIs.

· Experience in deploying applications using Cloud Services such as Amazon EC2

· Ability to write clean, well-documented code that follows good coding practices

· Experience using Source Code Management system like SVN, CVS or GIT

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing prototype requirements at all stages of development.

· Problem-solving skills and critical mindset.

· Great communication skills, the desire and ability to learn.

Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions

· Designing and building web applications using Laravel in accordance with established standards.

· Develop web applications to support the user interface, communications, storage and logging for the project.

· Utilize third party SDK/APIs to integrate with other software modules.

· Working with front-end and back-end developers on projects.

· Ensuring that integrations run smoothly.

· Test the web applications, troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds.

· Testing functionality for users and the backend.

· Devising possible solutions to anticipated problems

· Coordinate with the cross-functional teams to build apps in stipulated time/budget.
