Software Engineer III- ServiceNow Developer

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively. You will create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets to drive continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large data sets - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new technologies - Design, code, test, and deliver software leveraging firm-wide frameworks and best practices for the ServiceNow platform - Collaborate with the Business Analysis team for producing estimates and agile delivery plans **Qualification Required:** - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficient in coding in one or more languages - Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform implementation; off-platform development experience welcomed - Extensive knowledge of best practices developing in the ServiceNow platform - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred - Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus Please note that the above qualifications, capabilities, and skills mentioned are required for the role.
