Software Engineer II

Roles and responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging the cloud-based applications.
• Optimise software for maintainability, quality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as design, user research, product management, and data engineering and data science, to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and users, understanding their needs and requirements.
• Contribute to the overall technology function regarding infrastructure, shared knowledge and continuous improvements.

Key Requirements:

• 1-2 years

  of experience as a Full-stack Software Developer with a focus on Backend.
• Expertise in building applications with both backend and frontend technologies like

  React, Node.js, Next.js, Typescript, Tailwind CSS

  or any other relevant technologies.
• Should have experience in consuming/creating APIs e.g., REST, SOAP.
• Should have experience in database technologies e.g.

  RDBMS, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Graph DBs

• Experience in Unit testing of code is an added advantage.
• Exposure to other technologies such as

  C#, Python, PHP

  , is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of software engineering tools and methodologies, such as agile, git, code review, testing frameworks, etc.
• Outstanding problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Passionate about web and software development and continuous learning.
• Attitude to learn and implement new technologies and proactiveness among peers to get the work done.
• Bachelor s degree or higher in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
