Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on secure, stable applications
• Writes high-quality production code using at least one programming language
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to improve automation and value
• Gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes data to identify problems and support decision-making
• Learns and applies system processes and methodologies for secure, stable code and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, Kafka, Python, and database technologies
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
• Skilled in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages
• Demonstrated ability to write code in one or more programming languages
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and its application in project delivery
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
