Software Engineer I

Role Overview: You will be working as a Software Engineer II and DevOps Engineer as part of an agile team at Dun & Bradstreet. Your primary focus will be on Cloud migration and Cloud native application implementation. You will play a crucial role in analyzing, operating, and maintaining the DevOps processes. Your responsibilities will include managing the development CICD pipeline, identifying production system issues, and developing remediation plans. As the operation owner of the application, you will ensure the smooth execution of the system. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor the product system, including utilization monitoring, trend analysis, and log reviews. Communicate findings and recommendations for preemptive and remediation actions. - Perform Development Operations (DevOps) activities to configure and adjust computing and storage resources based on requirements. Collaborate with teams like CloudOps, TechOps, and DBA for platform specifications. - Investigate and analyze reported problems and anomalies in the production system. Prepare remediation recommendations and assist in their deployment. - Organize and execute performance measurement activities, including preparing performance tuning recommendations. Track resource usage trends and performance metrics within the production environment, particularly focusing on database usage. - Develop utilities and administration capabilities to enhance the management and operations of the system. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience in a software development team. - Technical skills: Proficiency in Java or Python programming, experience with cloud technology and services, and operational system configuration knowledge. - Analytical skills: Ability to conduct problem analysis, assess performance issues, and perform performance tuning. - Communication skills: Effective communication of findings and recommendations to technology teams and program management through verbal and written channels. - Competencies: Self-driven with a focus on results, ability to make decisions based on situations, deliver results with minimal supervision, strong data knowledge (preferably business data sets) with analytical and quantitative skills. - Experience with Google Cloud, Terraform, and Harness is required. Experience with AWS is a strong plus.,
