Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a C++ Developer at H&R Block, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using C++. With 2-3 years of hands-on experience, you will play a crucial role in creating efficient and scalable code while adhering to best practices in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain software components using C++. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture. - Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications. - Optimize application performance and memory usage. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes. Qualification Required: - Strong programming skills in C++ (C++11 or later). - Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns. - Experience with data structures, algorithms, and multithreading. - Proficiency in using development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, or GCC. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
