Description
You will be part of the Cloud Security Supportability and Tooling team, dedicated to providing the best customer experience to end users. Customer Success is our primary focus, and the tools and applications we build are utilized by both Support and Customers. Our team drives efficiency by offering proactive troubleshooting apps and resolutions. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge Cloud Security Solutions with customers, support, stakeholders, and engineers. You will be responsible for building highly scalable Cloud Microservice solutions to secure a high volume of web traffic. Troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of critical customer issues will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide tooling as a platform, sustain large-scale applications and tools, and support innovation and rapid prototyping in the product. Collaboration with Product Management to enhance product experience, accelerating scalability, reliability, and performance improvement, and mentoring engineers in the group to promote engineering excellence are also essential aspects of this role. You will also be involved in maintaining security and compliance capabilities in support of DevOps processes in a large-scale Cloud computing environment. Minimum Qualifications: - 7+ years of software experience with Supportability and Tooling - Good exposure to networking applications performing deep packet inspection, with strong knowledge of most common Layer 4-7 protocols - Strong, hands-on expertise in typical cloud solutions like AWS and K8s - Experience with programming languages such as Python, React, and Go - Capable of rapid prototyping of innovative solutions Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in building cloud-delivered SaaS-based security solutions - Expertise in the Security domain with exposure to network or web security technologies and industry trends - Experience with cloud, network, and endpoint technologies - Proficiency in Agile and lean practices, DevOps culture, and iterative customer feedback-based development experience - Background in software optimization and performance analysis Join us at Cisco, where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
