Software Engineer Full Stack Developer

As a Software Engineer-Full Stack Developer at Barclays, you will embark on a transformative journey to spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. You will be part of the Operational Support Systems (OSS) Platform Engineering team within the Network OSS & Tools functional unit at Barclays, responsible for designing, building, and running the underlying OSS infrastructure and toolchain across cloud and on-premises environments. To excel in this role, you should possess demonstrable expertise in front-end and back-end skillsets, including Java proficiency, Spring Ecosystem, SQL and NoSQL integration, React.js, JavaScript, state management expertise, and runtime knowledge such as virtualization, containers, and Kubernetes. You should also have experience with test-driven development frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, ELT pipelines, cloud/storage integrations, security practices, performance optimization, and cloud technologies. Your key responsibilities will include leading and managing engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship, overseeing project timelines and risk management, fostering a culture of innovation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enforcing technology standards.
