What youll do
DocuSign is hiring a Software Engineer for its Digital Notary team to help develop sophisticated, global solutions that impact millions of users. The team is responsible for building reliable and secure software at a massive scale for the companys Agreement Cloud platform. In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, agile engineering team and will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The position requires a collaborative individual who can work with remote, multicultural teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will work on challenging problems, brainstorm new solutions, and implement engineering best practices using current technologies and tools.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering.
Responsibility
- Write high-quality code that is easy to maintain and test
- Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
- Research new features and technologies
- Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed
- Design and build components to enhance the capabilities of the Notary Docusign Experiences
- Work with Product Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development
- Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that are scalable and secure
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the teams productivity and efficiency
- Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team
- Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing, and release of products

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, C#, Java, or C++
- Experience with front-end technologies, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or VueJS
Preferred
- Interested in building large-scale, highly available, fault-tolerant, reliable applications
- Proficiency and interest in working with algorithms, data structures, and production troubleshooting
- Experience/Familiarity working in an agile development environment
- Familiar with continuous integration and deployment tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Familiar with the Google Suite
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets
