Overview Learning and developing programming skills and implementing them by supporting ongoing Projects under the guidance of the Project Lead. Responsibilities Learning through LinkedIn Learning, on-job training, and project-based training Learn and apply fundamental programming concepts and best practices to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Learn and apply software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Assist in design, implementation of new software features and enhancements OR the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts OR contribute to test automation effort working with relevant tools and frameworks. Supports the team by implementing learning in various projects Developing skills through basic training -Communication / Analytical / Leadership skills Qualifications Candidate should have 0-1 year of relevant working experience realized in product testing in a distributed environment OR as a Java/Python / mobile application developer/Trainee/Apprentice. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good Verbal and written communication skills. Theoretical knowledge of core computer science areas. Only candidates who have scored more than 70% marks throughout academics should apply (for programming focus). A certification course in Java or Python or an internship in Java or Python will be an added advantage (for programming focus). Familiarity with Android SDK or iOS SDK and related development tools (e.g., Android Studio, Xcode) will be an added advantage (for mobile application focus) Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and design patterns will be added advantage (for mobile application focus) SKILLS & ABILITIES: Required: Good fundamental programming skills. ( Java / Python / Kotlin (for Android), Swift, or Objective-C (for iOS)) Clear understanding of OOP concepts and best practices Proficient in object-oriented programming languages Database understanding Knowledge of Unix fundamentals, scripting, and installation and upgrade of software. Ability to understand software architecture and design-spec. Basic understanding of Test writing, execution, and test reporting. Ability to work well in a team - carrying out own part and helping to pull and achieve as a team. Excellent communication skills and team skills. Good command of verbal and written English. Preferred: Certification or Diploma in Quality Assurance / ISTQB Certification (for QA focus). Certification or Diploma in Java or Python Programming (for programming focus).
