Software Engineer (Application Developer)

Location: Electronic city, Bangalore, Karnataka
Qualification: B.Tech / BCA / Masters' Degree in relevant domain

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in android application development

Skills

• Proficient in Java and SQL; working knowledge of Kotlin preferred.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and Android core components (Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers).
• Good experience in XML-based UI development; exposure to Jetpack Compose is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with libraries such as Room, Retrofit, Ktor, or similar.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Translate UI/UX designs into well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs and manage local data using Room or equivalent libraries.
• Write clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards across the team.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical issues.
• Stay updated with emerging Android technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Contribute to improving development processes, automation, and documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
