Software Engineer 2

You will be joining Dell PowerScale as a Software Engineer 2 on the System Test Engineering team in Pune. Your primary responsibility will be to run and automate system and product level tests, file defects, assist in root cause analysis, drive defect resolution, monitor regression test cases, and ensure customer satisfaction by preventing issues from reaching customers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building frameworks and solutions that interact with different layers of OneFS integration - Reviewing and implementing test strategies for software products - Participating in the preparation, review, and evaluation of software/storage requirements and specifications - Maintaining tests and code in source control Qualifications should include: - 3-5 years of software development and test experience - Good knowledge of programming languages and operating systems such as POSIX, UNIX, Linux - Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs based on design specifications - Experience in Test Automation using Python or any other language - Experience in Automation framework design and development Desirable qualifications may include: - Experience in storage technologies like NAS, Flash Array, and knowledge of server, networking, and client technologies - BE in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience Dell Technologies is a family of businesses that values the impact of each team member.
