Job Description

As a Software Engineer II, you will be part of our blockchain team

Your role will be to build backend services, integrate blockchain

networks, and ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and high-performing. You

will work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver

cutting-edge solutions in DeFi and RWA spaces. If you are passionate about

blockchain and backend technologies, this is the place for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend and oracle services for the MVL ecosystem.
• Write and maintain code in Typescript.
• Integrate blockchain networks with backend services.
• Understand business needs and build APIs for DeFi and RWA projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in Node.js backend development.
• Proficient in blockchain integrations, including ethers/viem for creating

transactions or fetching data.

• Experience with smart contracts and basic cryptography concepts related to

blockchain, especially within the EVM ecosystem.

• Strong skills in Typescript, Node.js, and frameworks like NestJS, Express.js, Koa

or Hapi.js.

• Experience in building server apps using databases, caching, and message

queues.

• SQL or ORM knowledge for data management.
• Writing test code using tools like Jest or Vitest.
• Good communication with frontend teams using API specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience in Monorepo environments and tools like Turborepo.
• Strong understanding of Typescript features (Generics, Type Narrowing, etc.).
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) for service communication.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain trends.
