Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

S/W

  • Contribute to application development, bug fixes, and feature enhancements using secure coding practices.
  • Integrate security-by-design principles into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms to safeguard user data.
  • Research and implement industry best practices for cybersecurity and application hardening.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Execute comprehensive manual testing procedures to validate application functionality and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using framework like Playwright for web application testing.
  • UI/UX testing with focus on accessibility compliance.
  • Periodic rigorous system testing for identifying security vulnerabilities.

Customer Support Services

  • Provide comprehensive daily support for customers, stakeholders and ecosystem participants in clarifying queries, reporting issues, updating resolution status and closure.
  • Handle customer inquiries through multiple channels including phone calls, emails, and live chat.
  • Document and escalate user-reported issues to the development team with detailed testing reports.
  • Maintain support ticket tracking system and follow up on resolution timelines with stake- holders

Required Qualifications

Domain Knowledge

Quick learner with willingness to learn and adapt to CDOT development and testing methodologies, to understand product offerings, features and customer demands.

Technical Skills

  • Full stack Java development
  • Knowledge of API testing using Swagger and related tools
  • Core cyber security skills
  • Cryptography & Data Protection
  • Threat Intelligence & Incident Response
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with automation testing framework like Playwright

Communication and Support Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer support through multiple channels (phone, email, chat)
  • Patience and professionalism when handling customer inquiries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Cyber Security
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in software development, security assessment, testing and quality assurance
  • 0 -2 years of experience in technical customer support
  • Knowledge of development platforms and testing frameworks
