AUS is actively looking for self-driven and process-oriented individuals who would be interested in joining team AUS in this fascinating growth journey and be an early contributor to the drone ecosystem of the country which is growing at a very exciting and fast pace. As a key member of our platforms team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend solutions for our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python framework development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. You would be a part of: Building APIs, UIs and infrastructure management tools to manage data processing and visualization pipeline Creation of software architecture based on system requirements Deployment and management of apps and services on our cloud infrastructure Active infrastructure monitoring through logs and metrics to guarantee uptime and security Developing and maintaining code quality standards and best practices Hiring, mentoring and guiding team members Setting strategic direction for the engineering teams We expect you to be: Having at least 4 years of deep experience with Python Experienced with back-end frameworks such as Django, Flask etc. Experienced with REST and GraphQL API development practices Experienced with in-memory databases such as Redis, memcached Experienced with containerization tools like Docker Experienced with unit, integration and end-to-end testing frameworks and tools such as PyUnit, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Selenium Experienced with the major offerings provided by at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, Heroku, Microsoft Azure, Digital Ocean etc. Experienced with CI/CD tools and practices Experienced with logging and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana etc. Experienced with leading a small team of software engineers Experienced with managing robust, scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud deployments Experienced with maintaining large and growing codebases in a fast-moving environment You are awesome if you are: Experienced with process management and hardware resource optimization in Linux Familiar with container orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, KEDA etc. Familiar with GIS data handling Experienced with leading engineering teams to successful project completion Experienced with designing software architecture Experienced with building and executing engineering roadmaps Desired Skills: Python, Django, Flask, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Architecture Design, Engineering Roadmap Planning
