If you join us, your opportunities will include: Invent a novel delightful Android-based experience for our customers. Collaborate with UX and Product owners to define customer experience and product direction. Deliver high quality software through working in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment. A day in the life You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new systems, partnering with other Amazon and third-party services and device teams as required. You will ensure that Alexa almost never drops her end of the conversation, delivering services that respond with minimal latency at Amazon scale. You will work on device frameworks, APIs and more. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
