Software Development Engineer (BackEnd)

Job Description

Responsibilities Build services and a platform that power TD AI Understand, follow, and contribute to TD AI's standards for the software development life cycle Work closely with product and tech team to deliver efficient, maintainable, and unit-tested software Collaborate with product & business teams to understand customer journeys and solve problems that help TD AI grow. Lead microservice-based architecture and design of new and old systems, and has a good record of time estimate vs actual delivery & work on cloud infrastructures like GCP, AWS, etc Drive product and design discussions Elevate the skills of the team through technical mentorship Own a functional area from product conception to delivery, including the documentation, code quality, UT coverage, etc Participate in code reviews, write tech specs, and collaborate closely with other people Requirements Strong problem solving skills and are a fast learner Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms At least 3+ years of experience working in a product company At least 4+ years of experience in Back-end development. Proficient in at least one programming language like Java, C#, Python or GoLang Experience working with different kinds of data stores - SQL, NoSQL, etc and queuing systems Should have extensive experience in development and contribution of backend architecture, system designs, design of distributed systems & microservices Experience in working in application logging and monitoring systems like Prometheus Should know how to improve the performance of backend systems. Good grasp of fundamentals of computer science and web development A team player and should be able to give and receive constructive feedback A passion for learning new technologies to deliver exceptional products.
