Software Developer - CAD/PLM Systems

Your role as a Software Development professional in the 3D Design Automation (PD DAT) team at Siemens Energy involves developing and maintaining innovative software applications for product selection and automation. You will collaborate with internal clients to understand their requirements and translate them into software solutions. Working within a distributed team of domain experts, you will utilize methodologies like SCRUM Methodology and Extreme Programming for rapid development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, maintain, and optimize C# applications, including desktop applications and services. - Design and implement service endpoints for efficient communication between applications. - Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure high performance and reliability. - Document software designs, development processes, and APIs. - Perform peer code reviews to enhance design and implementation. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor of Technology/Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience. - Proficiency in C# development, preferably with .NET 8+. - Knowledge of service architectures such as APIs, REST, or similar technologies. - Familiarity with desktop application development (WPF) and database systems (SQL). - Experience with CAD systems like Siemens NX and PLM systems like Siemens Teamcenter. - Proficiency in project management tools and source/version control systems like JIRA and GIT. As part of the PD DAT India team, you will work in a dynamic and agile environment, supporting business improvement projects following agile principles like SCRUM. Additionally, you will provide user support for applications deployed on the production environment.
