Job Description

Position Overview

The Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for developing students interpersonal, communication, and professional skills to enhance their employability and overall personality. The trainer will design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and activities to prepare students for interviews, workplace interactions, and career success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

  • Conduct interactive sessions on communication skills presentation skills business etiquette time management and teamwork.
  • Train students on interview techniques group discussions and public speaking.
  • Develop students confidence, grooming, and workplace readiness.

2. Curriculum & Content Development

  • Design customized training modules as per the needs of students and industry requirements.
  • Prepare training materials, handouts, and multimedia presentations.
  • Continuously update content based on feedback and industry trends.

3. Student Assessment & Feedback

  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure progress.
  • Provide individual and group feedback to help students improve.
  • Identify students needing extra support and provide additional mentoring.

4. Coordination with Departments

  • Collaborate with placement cell and academic departments to align training with employability skills.
  • Participate in orientation programs for new students.
  • Assist in organizing career development and personality enhancement events.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain training attendance, assessment records, and progress reports.
  • Share regular training updates with management.
  • Document success stories and improvement cases for future reference.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in English, Communication, HR, Psychology, or related field.
  • Professional certification in soft skills training or personality development (preferred).
  • 25 years of experience as a trainer, faculty, or corporate coach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and motivational skills.
