Social Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Social Studies Teacher to become part of our team. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging instruction across various social sciences subjects such as history, geography, civics, economics, and sociology. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and safe is essential. Encouraging active participation, setting clear behavior expectations, and delivering well-structured lessons are crucial aspects of effective teaching. By incorporating diverse instructional strategies like lectures, discussions, debates, and project-based learning, you will cater to the individual learning needs of our students. Your role also involves connecting social studies content with other disciplines to provide students with a holistic perspective of the world. Through activities that promote critical thinking, empathy, and global awareness, you will help students develop a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives and cultures. Furthermore, assessing student progress through various types of evaluations and providing constructive feedback are vital components of your teaching approach. Collaboration with fellow educators to integrate social studies instruction with other subjects and create interdisciplinary learning opportunities is encouraged. Additionally, designing a comprehensive social subject year calendar that incorporates art, IT, and other skills is part of your role in enhancing the learning experience for our students. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, History, Political Science, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred, along with relevant teaching experience at the high school level. Proficiency in technology integration, effective pedagogy, classroom management, and strong communication skills are essential qualities we are looking for in a candidate. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be involved in various aspects of school administration, including maintaining academic records, conducting admission tests, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student progress and well-being.
