Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Social Media Marketing Assistant
with a strong sense of Design & Art to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our branding, social media, and content creation efforts through visually appealing designs and engaging multimedia content.
Your Job Responsibilities
- Design and publish engaging content across social media platforms
- Create visually appealing brochures, prospectuses, reels, and other assets using tools like
Canva, Descript, etc.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams, gather input via content forms, and manage feedback loops
- Edit and enhance video content—trim clips, add background music, and produce high-impact reels
- Distribute official updates via Slack, email, and relevant community groups
- Support and run basic ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn (training provided)
- Write effective LinkedIn posts to amplify our brand voice (training provided)
- Assist in creating marketing collateral (brochures, posters, etc.) for external organizations
- Develop and maintain a consistent
brand style guide
- Support course teams with multimedia assets—slides, images, and videos
Skills And Qualifications Required
- Proficiency in
Canva
(presentations, templates, brand kits) - Basic video editing using
Descript
or similar tools - Good sense of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Knowledge of social media trends and content formats
- Proficiency with tools like Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Slack
Preferred Qualities
- Creative thinker with a passion for art and design
- Proactive attitude with attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and coordination skills
