Role Overview

The Social Media Intern will assist in managing, creating, and optimizing content for multiple online platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social media trends, content creation, and brand engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and scheduling engaging posts for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, competitor activity, and engagement opportunities.
• Support in writing captions, creating hashtags, and designing basic graphics.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
• Track performance metrics and prepare basic analytics reports.
• Collaborate with the creative team for campaigns and content planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
• Experience: Prior internship or project experience in social media management is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite).
• Knowledge of hashtags, SEO basics, and social media analytics.
• Creative Skills:
• Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
• Awareness of current social media trends and platform updates.
