Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media & Community Coordinator who can help manage daily communication, support creators, and keep the UPDEED community active. This role suits someone who enjoys social media, cares about causes, and can handle fast communication with ease.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, schedule, and publish content across UPDEED’s social channels.

• Respond to comments, messages, and community queries.

• Support campaign creators with basic guidance, examples, and communication.

• Help maintain neat content calendars and simple weekly reports.

• Spot stories from the UPDEED app and share them with the team for posting.

• Coordinate with the design and impact team to keep content on track.

Skills We’re Looking For

• Strong grasp of Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Comfortable writing short captions and simple “explainer” posts.

• Organised with content calendars, reminders and deadlines.

• Clear communication skills; able to talk to NGO founders and students alike.

• Basic design skills (Canva) are helpful.

Who Will Fit This Role

Someone who enjoys community work, can stay consistent with daily tasks, and likes engaging with people. For example, replying politely to ten DMs from volunteers and helping a small NGO improve the caption for their campaign preview.

Salary

₹35,000–₹40,000 per month based on experience.
