Ltd. is currently hiring for the role of Associate Social Impact Team" for our business operations in Bangalore, India. We prefer immediate joiners or short notice joiners.

Overview: For over three decades, MSI's philanthropic initiatives have created lasting impact across education, healthcare and nutrition, and vocational training. We are seeking an Associate Social Impact Team to be based in Gujarat (remote). The role involves monitoring and auditing projects primarily in Gujarat and Maharashtra, maintaining relationships with NGO partners, and supporting community engagement programs.

Summary: The Social Impact Team supports MSIs initiatives in the US and India, managing NGO partnerships, employee volunteering, and compliance with social impact norms. They review grant proposals, explore new community engagement opportunities, and develop partnerships with foundations, while handling additional tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support MSIs Manager of Social Impact in executing and managing MSI’s Social Impact initiatives, both in the US and in India.

2. Engage with existing NGO partners, monitor and audit their programs; provide insights based on ground- level observations.

3. Manage the employee-volunteering program in MSI Bangalore.

4. Support the end-to-end NGO partner onboarding process in coordination with the Manager of Social Impact.

5. Ensure compliance with our Social Impact norms, NGO funding utilization, and compile Quarterly, Annual Reports etc.

6. Identify new avenues for MSI India to give back to local communities.

7. Review grant proposals from potential grantees and provide feedback to the Manager.

8. Develop new partnerships with other foundations to explore areas of mutual interest and collaboration

9. with the goal of increasing the scope of MSI’s social impact.

10. Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Social Work, Public or Business Administration, Public Health or a related field from a four-year college or two to four years of related experience and/or training.

2. Graduate degree in development sector or related field preferred; experience in philanthropy and/or non- profit organizations required.

3. Must have a knowledge of NGO sector with a focus on education, vocational training and public health.

4. Research and impact assessment experience and budget management is required.

5. Must be experienced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel and must be experienced in generating reports for the management.

6. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with ability to understand the basic data quality principles and practice.

7. The candidate should be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Gujarati.
