Job Description

Role & responsibilities Purpose: The job holder is responsible for leading and managing the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring real-time threat monitoring, incident response, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining a secure IT environment through proactive threat detection, effective incident management, and strategic planning. Main Priorities: Ensure seamless integration of log sources into SIEM. Single point of contact to execute all types of log integrations with SIEM & syslog solution Maintain a high-availability (HA) SOC infrastructure. Align SOC operations with regulatory requirements (CERT-In, SEBI, RBI, IRDAI). Enhance threat detection and response capabilities. Provide strategic direction and reporting to senior management. Preferred candidate profile Fully integrated and compliant SIEM environment. Documented threat models and detection strategies. Regular dashboards, reports, and SOC performance metrics. Updated monitoring rules and fine-tuned alerting mechanisms. Roadmaps and enhancement plan for SOC maturity. Real-time monitoring and triage of security alerts and events. - Timely and well-documented incident response and resolution. - Integrated and compliant SIEM environment.
