Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant/Associate Professor to join Mechanical cluster. This role is essential to support academic instruction, research activities, and student project supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Research:

• Academicians with a strong research and publication record (h-index above 10 preferred)
• Postdoctoral researchers seeking academic independence
• Industry experts looking to transition to academia
• Retired scientists/engineers passionate about mentoring and teaching
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
• Seek external funding through grant proposals to support research activities.
• Collaborate with industry and other academic institutions on research projects.

Service:

• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation activities.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote the department and its programs.
• Provide professional service to academic and industry communities.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field with a specialization in Aerospace, Avionics, , Automotive, Space Technology
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
• Ability to secure external funding for research.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
