Snowflake IICS Data Engineer

As a Snowflake + IICS (CAI+CDI) professional at PWC AC, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise to drive data integration and cloud application integration tasks. Your responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse for tasks such as data modeling, optimization, and query tuning. - Demonstrating expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), specifically Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and Cloud Data Integration (CDI) for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and integration activities. - Implementing API integration and middleware solutions using Informatica CAI. - Proficiently using Python programming for automation, data processing, and advanced data transformations. - Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines integrating Snowflake with various sources via IICS. - Leveraging strong SQL skills and expertise in Snowflake utilities like SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and managing data sharing. - Developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion workflows, and data transformation within cloud platforms. - Collaborating effectively with data architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design. - Managing Snowflake data objects including tables, views, stages, streams, and tasks with a focus on performance and cost optimization. - Deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, and lake-house patterns. - Ensuring data security and implementing data access controls and designs. - Having a clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributing to the preparation of technical design documents and test plans. - Mentoring junior developers and supporting knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications required for this role include a background in BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/MBA, along with the following skills: - Snowflake - IICS Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services - CAI Cloud Application Integration AND CDI Cloud Data Integration - Python Additionally, it is beneficial to have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data storage and management technologies such as S3, Blob/ADLS, and Google Cloud Storage.
