Snowflake + Azure Developer_C2H initially_MNC_Only Immediate

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Snowflake Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, with additional experience in cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) considered a plus. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1) Design and Development : Develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake. Build and maintain scalable data models, schemas, and tables in Snowflake. Integrate data from diverse sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured) into Snowflake. 2) Performance Optimization : Monitor and tune Snowflake queries and workloads for optimal performance and cost efficiency. Apply best practices for data partitioning, clustering, and indexing in Snowflake. 3) Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Snowflake development. 4) Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Implement role-based access controls and data governance policies within Snowflake. 5) Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Document data flows, architecture, and processes. Stay current with Snowflake platform updates and recommend improvements as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Expertise :
1) Proven experience with Snowflake data warehouse development and administration (mandatory). 2) Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL concepts. 3) Experience with scripting languages (Python, Scala, etc.) for data transformation and automation.

Cloud Platform Experience (Optional)
1) Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Databricks, Blob Storage, etc.) or Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.) is a plus. 2) Familiarity with integrating Snowflake with cloud resources and third-party data sources is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

1) Snowflake certification(s) are highly desirable.
2) Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and API integrations. 3) Knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
