Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced candidate with a background in product design and development of automotive interior soft trims, your role will involve working on components such as headliners, parcel shelf, carpet, and insulation. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your expertise in soft trim manufacturing processes like compression molding and plastic injection molding, as well as your knowledge of materials compositions such as fabrics and acoustic materials. Key Responsibilities: - Possess extensive experience in product design and development of automotive interior soft trims - Work on components like headliners, parcel shelf, carpet, and insulation - Utilize expertise in soft trim manufacturing processes like compression molding and plastic injection molding - Demonstrate a deep understanding of various materials compositions used in soft trims - Ensure compliance with BSR, NVH requirements, and regulatory standards for domestic, European, and US markets - Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for design and development activities - Proficiency in Catia and PLM software - Understand engineering design release and change management processes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering degree in Automobile or Mechanical - 12 to 14 years of relevant work experience - Strong interpersonal skills - Familiarity with tolerance stack-up, GDT, tools, and fixture designs - Knowledge of product life cycle of soft trim components design and development - Experience with Tata Motors Leadership Competencies: - Developing Self and Others - Leading Change - Driving Execution - Leading by Example - Motivating Self and Others - Customer Centricity If you meet these qualifications and are prepared to excel in a challenging and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.,
