As an Aeroacoustics Simulation Engineer, you will predict noise and vibration levels to improve product noise levels. Your responsibilities include developing NVH Aeroacoustics models, correlating simulation results with test data, and optimizing designs to minimize noise and vibration. You will focus on fan noise simulation for fluid flow and use acoustic analogies to determine sound generated by blade profiles. Qualifications: - B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Applied Physics - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience Technical Expertise: - Perform NVH simulation activities using CAE tools like Actran, Ansys, and Hyperworks - Create finite element models of parts using preprocessing tools - Use CFD tools with acoustic solvers to predict noise levels and set up computational domains - Analyze simulation results to identify noise sources in terms of sound pressure levels and frequency spectra - Simulate modal analysis to identify natural frequencies and mode shapes - Set NVH targets for HVAC products and prepare achievement plans - Collaborate with engineering teams to design HVAC products meeting acoustics and vibration requirements - Perform optimization studies for continuous performance improvement - Conduct automation activities to reduce CAE lead time Main Responsibilities: - Reduce noise on cooling fans by optimizing blade profiles - Provide acoustics analysis reports with design recommendations - Use simulations to find configurations for noise and vibration reduction - Participate in physical testing to validate simulations and design recommendations - Improve software tools and methodologies for aeroacoustics analysis - Work on cooling fan, compressor noise reduction, sheet metal components, and acoustic materials If you are interested in this role, you can submit your resume to randdrecruiter@bluestarindia.com along with a brief on the projects you have worked on.,

The ideal candidate for this position should possess extensive experience in product design and development of automotive Interior soft trims, specifically working on components such as headliners, parcel shelf, carpet, and insulation. You should hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Automobile or Mechanical and have accumulated 12 to 14 years of relevant work experience. Your expertise should include a deep understanding of soft trim manufacturing processes like compression molding and plastic injection molding. Moreover, you should be well-versed in various materials compositions used in soft trims, such as fabrics and acoustic materials. Knowledge of BSR, NVH requirements, as well as regulatory standards for domestic, European, and US markets, is crucial. Familiarity with the product life cycle of soft trim components design and development, tolerance stack-up, GDT, tools, and fixture designs is essential. You must demonstrate the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for design and development activities. Proficiency in Catia and PLM software, along with a solid understanding of engineering design release and change management processes, is a must.
